Farruquito
returns. Following his incarceration and still serving
a third-degree sentence, the Sevillian bailaor resumes
his professional career. And he does so with the premiere
of the show ‘Puro’ on July 24th, 2008 at Palma
Arena in Palma de Mallorca. The artist is going to bare
his baile, surrounding himself with an impressive troupe
of cantaores and musicians. Standing out among them are
Juan José Amador, La Tana and Encarna
Anillo on vocals; Antonio Rey and Juan Requena on
toque; and the collaboration of a guest as special as
Manuel Molina is. Moreover, for the first time he includes
instruments such as the piano of Jumitus, the violin of
Bernardo Parrilla and the percussion of Isidro Suárez.
Zapateado, seguiriya, taranto, soleá and alegrías
are some of the styles which make up this new repertoire.
