The world music festival which is held in the French city of
Arles from July 9th to 15th, 2007, adds to its program the performance
by Sevillian pianist Diego
Amador. The musician presents the album ‘Piano jondo’
on the evening of Tuesday, July 10th at Cour de l’Archevêché.
Flamenco will also appear in the show ‘Vertiges’,
promoted by film director Tony Gatlif, author of movies like
‘Vengo’. The show, which mixes what is flamenco
with what is gypsy and Oriental, will take place on the night
of the same day, at the Thèâtre Antique. The festival
also offers courses on flamenco dancing and box drum on its
bill, which announces a total of two hundred artists of such
diverse types of music as Hindu, Moroccan and Brazilian.
