Diego del Morao, Duquende and Piraña take part in the ‘Pellizcos flamencos’ Series at Casa Patas. The Madrilenian tablao enriches its monthly program with a series of special shows which, with the title ‘Pellizcos flamencos’, aim to become a cultural proposal focusing on the biggest fans. Jerez-born guitarist Diego del Morao will be the one in charge of opening the series on Thursday, May 20th at 12:30 a.m. Besides his concert, which will provide a sneak preview of songs from the début album which the label Cigala Music will soon release for him, he will teach a flamenco guitar master class on the same day from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Casa Patas Conservatory Foundation. The next recital, scheduled for Thursday, May 27th, will be taken care of by cantaor Duquende. Percussionist Piraña’s group will offer the third concert on the bill. And the Triana-born singer Remedios Amaya will performe on Thusday, July 1st. Names for upcoming events are being considered such as Pepe Habichuela, La Tana and Montse Cortés.
