2008 Flamenco
pa’Tos Festival announces its ninth edition with Pepe
Habichuela, Tomatito and Pitingo in the lineup. The
Colegio de Médicos (Medical Association) in Madrid will
once again host the charity festival organized by Spanish comedy
duo Gomaespuma. It kicks off on June 23rd with performances
by La Tobala with Pedro Sierra, Pitingo and Joaquín Grilo.
On Tuesday the 24th, Pepe
Habichuela and Josemi Carmona, La Macanita and Mari Ángeles
come together on stage, with a closing baile by María
Juncal. Tomatito
opens the evening on Wednesday, June 25th, when Paco del Pozo
will also come out on stage with Antonio Carrión, and
bailaor Alfonso Losa. The closing day, Thursday the 26th, will
star Daniel Casares, Antonio Carbonell with Pepe Montoyita,
plus Estrella Morente as guest artist, and the final baile by
José Maya.
