Festival Madrid Sur 2007 opens
up to flamenco. La Cuadra de Sevilla with ‘Flamenco
para La Traviata’, Isabel
Bayón with ‘La puerta abierta’
and María Pagés with ‘Canciones, antes
de una guerra’ are part of the program of the twelfth
edition of this cultural event to be held October 5th
to 28th in several towns in the southern area of Madrid.
With the slogan ‘La gran periferia’ (‘The
Great Outskirts’), this year the festival includes
nearly thirty theater companies and creators from fourteen
countries.
