Festival Flamenco Solidarios
2007 celebrates its tenth anniversary in grand fashion.
A selection of five cantaores on the bill summarizes the
current scene of cante flamenco. José
Mercé, Marina Heredia and Duquende perform
on Friday, October 19th, while Arcángel and El
Pele will do so on Saturday the 20th. The program, organized
by the NGO Solidarios para el Desarrollo, is complemented
by the guitar concert which will be offered by José
Antonio Rodríguez on the first day and with the
baile performance by Antonio el Pipa on the second. In
this edition, the festival returns to its original stage
at Colegio Mayor San Juan Evangelista, and as always,
with the aim of raising funds for social projects.
